Challenges

Movimiento Poder has been at the forefront of grassroots advocacy in Denver for over two decades—organizing around education justice, immigration rights, voting access, and more. With a deep commitment to healing justice and community wellness, the organization recognized a need to grow its infrastructure to match its vision.

Strategic Planning

  • Facilitated a participatory process with staff, leadership, and board

  • Created space for collective visioning and honest reflection on challenges

  • Delivered a 3-year strategic plan rooted in Movimiento Poder’s commitment to liberation, community care, and collective power

Leadership Coaching

  • Provided individualized coaching for the Executive Director, Deputy Director and Program Managers, supporting them in leading through change, navigating complexity, and deepening alignment

  • Facilitated group coaching sessions with the staff team to strengthen communication, collective leadership, and accountability practices

Program Development

  • Offered thought partnership and structure-building for their growing community wellness programming

  • Helped clarify program goals, staffing needs, and evaluation practices

  • Ensured that wellness initiatives were integrated with the broader mission of advocacy and organizing
